BFA work from Umeå Academy of Fine Arts, 2013. This project explores the concept of buildings as repositories for memories by focusing on the last remaining houses that bear the violent marks of the 3/11 2011 tsunami. Each of the depicted houses were caught in void or limbo where the bodily wounds of the tsunami - the physicality of the waves - is juxtaposed against them also being marked for demolition.
